On 14th September 2017, BANK OF AFRICA - TANZANIA launched its groundbreaking- new banking App dubbed SWAHIBA Mobile to the Tanzanian market at the business City of Dar es Salaam.
This follows the mass adoption of its B-Mobile banking services, which allows users to enjoy full mobile banking services via any model of mobile phone.
As it comes with multiple new features and functionalities, SWAHIBA Mobile App gives customers a single-view platform for all interaction with the services offered by the bank. Customers can access their personal and business accounts all in one place. The App also includes the following functionalities: funds transfer, cheque services, instant loan application, bill payment, cardless ATM withdrawal, airtime top up, self-registration to Mobile Banking Services and e-chama services amongst many others.
Additionally, anyone including non-BANK OF AFRICA customers can undertake an array of services without login such as loan application, BOA Branch and ATM locator, online shopping, foreign exchange rates and information on BOA products and offers.
The launch of SWAHIBA Mobile App reflects our profound gratitude to all our valued customers for their trust in our bank, to the communities, shareholders, partners and all stakeholders, throughout our 10 years of operation in the country.
The App can be downloaded for free and is currently available on smartphones and tablets with Apple iOS and Android operating systems.
SWAHIBA is an informal Swahili word usually used amongst women referring to a close friend.
